World War One poster collection (Accession No. 1900.237-WWI)
This collection of recruitment, Victory bond, and Canada Food Board posters provide examples of British propaganda created during the First World War. All totalled, there are 75 posters and 4 pamphlets in this collection. Many other posters, created by both the Canadian and British governments, are not part of this collection but may be viewed on web sites such as firstworldwar.com and the Canadian War Museum.
