Leverett Chipman

Leverett De Veber Chipman (1831-1914) was a Lt. Colonel in the Nova Scotia Militia. He was acclaimed to Parliament upon the death of his father in 1870 and remained in office until 1874.

Digital collections consists of correspondence between Chipman and several prominent political figures during the first few decades of the newly formed Dominion of Canada.
